Sam Gallagher - Camp AMSA Activities Manager and Head of Coaching Performance

Sam started his coaching journey, whilst he was a professional footballer, 8 years ago in Australia.   During this time, he ran a Football Coaching Academy in Norway while also playing football. In 2015, he became Head Coach of the U9’s and Assistant Coach of the U16’s Manly Untied FC Academy Teams and worked with Sydney F.C. Sam has a C-License Youth and Senior in Football, a Certificate 3 in Fitness and a Level 1 in Community Coaching.
Sam moved to the UK in November 2016 and joined AM Sports Academy in December 2017, where his footballing background along with his coaching knowledge in a wide range of different sports has added to the experience of our diverse team.
Sam played football in the Australian A-League for 5 seasons, the Norwegian 2nd division and the Vietnamese 1st division for a season each. He later played 2 seasons in the Australian second division before joining Hampton & Richmond Borough FC in 2016 when moving to London.
